SBI Personal Loan Scheme

SBI SARAL- Personal Loan: This loan can be sanctioned for any kind of legal purpose it may include a vacation trip (domestic/ foreign), marriage, education, maintenance of used cars or medical treatment etc. This loan is available at very low interest rates with a processing fee of 2-3% of the loan amount. You are provided with a long repayment time frame, of up to 48 months, with no prepayment penalty but if you repay the loan amount prior to 6 months, the bank will charge you with 1% of the loan amount. In order to avail this loan, you should be a doctor, MBA with 2 year standing, engineer, self employed, architect, chartered accountant or a salaried employee in any corporate. Documents required include passport size photograph (for existing customers) and for salaried individual’s, latest salary slip and Form 16. Your monthly income should be:

SBI Xpress Credit Personal Loan: Xpress Credit Personal loans offered by SBI are unsecured type loans and do not require any type of collateral. This loan is especially designed to serve the employees of Quasi government organizations, leading PSUs, reputed private sector organizations and are available at very competitive interest rates. Personal loans can help you meet unexpected financial requirements. You are required to prove your eligibility, on bank’s criteria, to avail personal loan. These loans are offered at zero margin and low interest rates with a processing fee of 1% of the loan amount and longer repayment tenure of up to 60 months. You are considered eligible for this loan if you qualify on the following criteria:

SBI Personal Loan for Pensioners: SBI has recently introduced a personal loan for pensioners. It is designed and formulated to meet the needs and requirements of those individuals who have higher capacity to repay the loan amount with good salaries and pensions. These are made available to-
  • All the central and state govt. and SBI pensioners who have a pension account with the bank.
  • Pensioners should not be above the age of 72 years.
  • The family pensioner (spouse authorized to receive the pension after the death of pensioner) should not be above the age of 65 years.
The maximum loan amount in this case should be 12 months net pension with an upper limit of Rs. 3 lac with a repayment tenure of:
